With Offices in Montréal and Toronto, Ravensburger Names Toy Industry Veteran Stephane Madi Head of Ravensburger Canada
MONTREAL–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Ravensburger AG, one of the world’s leading maker of toys, puzzles, and games, announces the opening of Ravensburger Canada this month. Canada has long supported a robust and growing market for toys, puzzles and games, which complements Ravensburger’s explosive growth in the Canadian market. Stephane Madi, a 12-year veteran of the toy and games industry, will lead the new office as Head of Ravensburger Canada.

Over the past five years, Ravensburger has had significant successes in Canada, capturing the No. 1 position in the puzzle category and recording more than 35% compounded annual growth rate in sales since 2015. The company also notched a 45% revenue growth rate in the toy, puzzles and games categories combined in 2019.
Sales growth in Canada occurred soon after Madi joined the company in 2014 as Director of Sales, Canada. Prior to joining Ravensburger, Madi started his career in toys and games with years in international toy licensing and brand management, followed by his time as National Accounts and Key Channels Manager for Mega Brands North American Business.
As head of Ravensburger Canada, Madi oversees business development with hundreds of partners nationwide; representing all of Ravensburger’s toy and game categories. He will report to Filip Francke, CEO of Ravensburger North America.
