Oasis Outsourcing Named Certified Professional Employer Organization (PEO) by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., July 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Oasis Outsourcing, the nation's largest privately held Professional Employer Organization (PEO), is pleased to announce that one of its subsidiaries has been recognized as a Certified Professional Organization (CPEO) by the United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS). In December 2014, the Small Business Efficiency Act (SBEA) became a historic milestone for the PEO industry by providing federal recognition of PEO services. Under the SBEA, a CPEO must meet strict auditing and reporting standards and assume responsibility for federal tax payments on wages paid to worksite employees. To remain compliant, a CPEO maintains extensive records and provides the IRS with ongoing independent financial reporting.
