Urban Conservative Advocates for Minority Business Owners during Fiscal Cliff Talks

  (January 17, 2013)

(PRWEB) January 17, 2013

Brandon Brice, a renowned republican strategist, expressed his dissatisfaction about the fiscal cliff of America in a recent interview with Mike Walter of CCTV America, as according to Brandon, it will not benefit the minority business owners. In this interview session, Brandon Brice clearly expressed his views about the fiscal cliff of America. During the interview, Christy Setzer, democratic strategist was much hopeful about the fiscal cliff. But Brandon said that the fiscal cliff is not going to help the African American small business owners. In fact he states that small business owners will be the biggest losers in this case.

Brandon Brice has a Bachelor in Business Administration, Marketing, from Howard University, MS in International Relations and Affairs from Rutgers University and an Executive Master's in Public Administration, International Financial Management from Columbia University in the City of New York. He described this fiscal cliff bill as a winner for President Obama but a loser for the American people, especially the small business owners. He also pointed out some facts about the unemployment numbers nationwide. Many times Brandon Brice is seen opposing the approaches of Obama in many interviews and posts. In some posts he talks about the difficulty of the minority business owners and highlights the unemployment rate in the African American districts. In a earlier post, Brandon Brice wrote that when unemployment is reported as 7.8 percent nationally, that doesn't honestly reflect the same unemployment rates in black neighborhoods across the nation. In African American majority sections the unemployment rate is twice that of the national average, at approximately 15-16 percent, not including the excessive dropout rates and increase poverty for seniors and low income mothers falling under the average median income. He pointed out that this scenario can frustrate the majority of the African American people who voted for Obama in the presidential election. Brandon agrees that Obama may be the President of all Americans but as a black President he should not neglect the overall welfare of the African American people as he must not forget that over 92% of African American people elected him for President.

While talking about small business issues, Brandon Brice mentioned former President Richard Nixon. According to him, The small business administration created under former President Richard Nixon, which directly aids low income small business, an economic driver in the country, was underutilized and reduced at a time when millions of African American small business owners could have benefited. He expressed his grief that black businesses are losing access to government contracts and the urban unemployment in black neighborhoods is increasing rapidly.
