Northeast IBM i User Group Conference to Host UNIT4 CODA

(March 27, 2012)

MANCHESTER, NH -- (Marketwire) -- 03/27/12 -- UNIT4 CODA, Inc., a division of UNIT4 (EURONEXT AMSTERDAM: UNIT4), the world's leading provider of business software for fast-changing organizations, joins with premier IBM business partners to exhibit at the Northeast IBM i User Group Conference (NEUGC) on April 4.

The largest IBM i technical conference in New England, the 22nd annual NEUGC event will focus on "The Power of i" as it fulfills its mission of helping the Power Systems community meet the challenge of change in a fast-moving technology age. The event will feature 75+ educational sessions, workshops, and the best hands-on Power Systems training in the region.

Focusing on the unique speed, automation, and reliability advantages of running Coda Financials on the IBM i platform including the AS/400, UNIT4 CODA will give visitors a valuable look at its best-of-class financial systems strategy, a cost-effective, sustainable alternative to ERP.

Real-world case studies will be available highlighting the successes by Kramer Industries, a Saskatchewan Caterpillar dealer, and Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, a Los Angeles college. Both have leveraged the seamless combination of Coda Financials and IBM i for superior real-time financial information to drive strategic business decisions.

"The IBM i is an extremely powerful platform that delivers proven solutions and built-in security. This approach allows users to focus on the nuances of their business, not on their computing platform. For more than 25 years, Coda Financials has delivered the same combination of power and flexibility," said Steven J. Pugh, UNIT4 CODA's CEO. "Our i financial software is designed to provide IBM customers with the full power of our best-of-class financial applications, without the compatibility issues of ported solutions."
