Charliewood Pictures Launches a Web Series Showcasing a Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Making of Their Upcoming Feature Film WARRIOR ROAD

  (February 13, 2013)

Charleston, SC (PRWEB) February 13, 2013

Charliewood Pictures, LLC, a Charleston, South Carolina-based production and investment company focused on developing, supporting, and promoting South Carolina-based films is launching its web series The Making of WARRIOR ROAD today online. The web series is a behind-the-scenes, interactive eight episode web series showcasing the dramatic process of making the highly-original independent film, WARRIOR ROAD, with ingenuity and a real business plan to follow.

WARRIOR ROAD completed principal photography in Charleston, South Carolina in December and is now in post-production. Brad Jayne is the writer and director of the film, which is about three young men in the marshlands of South Carolina who rob a backwoods juke joint and flee up the Carolina coast, armed with psychedelics, a souped-up Cutlass and a thirst for adventure. However, for one of the three, the journey is a quest for strength and courage in the face of a painful past.

We wanted to give all of our supporters a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into making a feature film, states Cleto Augusto, Vice-President of Charliewood Pictures. We set out to address several aspects including how the process began, showcase our very talented filmmaking team including the cast and crew, highlight the filming at our beautiful locations throughout the South Carolina coastal communities and what is currently going on in post-production. Giving film life to the process, we believe, accentuates the Charliewood mission statement, yet will entertain and broaden the film's fan base."

The web series debuts online today, February 13, and the first episode can be seen here on the WARRIOR ROAD YouTube Channel. The web series will be broadcast bi-weekly on Facebook at Ride Warrior Road. Episodes will feature the cast and crew of WARRIOR ROAD, showcase many of the beautiful locations throughout the Charleston area where filming took place and will include exclusive original footage from filming.
